Three books that I mailed on the 16th have not been marked received (one of the books is going to a town 60 miles up the road) and two books that I mailed on the 20th (including one to VA) have reached their destination. It makes no sense at all. I think the USPS does it to frustrate us. Arrggh! |

I think it's called a random chaos! It's amaZing that they make it wherever they are going, but they seem to do so eventually. I live in a part of VA where the post office doesn't work so well. they lose a large percentage of the mail coming to me. That's the only part I'm sure of. It's very annoying. This post office has been written up in the local paper several times for its poor performance. I think the USPS has become one of the things that we can't change - death, taxes, and the USPS. Ruth |

I agree with Ruth. When I lived just outside of Boston in a large city. The USPS service was awlful. If I had to mail anything would wait and go into Boston in the financial district. Now I live over the border of MA...in the country and they bend over backwards to help. Last Edited on: 6/27/09 6:27 PM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

I mailed two this week that have already arrived at their new homes and just found out today that one I mailed on the 13th was received today. The one mailed on the 13th was the one closest to me. Ya jest never know. |
