I was a little hesitant to read this book because of the cover....but it was a wonderful book, really drew me into the characters. Jenny and Robert are like any regular couple who aren't sure what to say when...it is really cute seeing them miss opportunities in the book where they could "declare their love" for each other. I really liked the character of Robert's mother...I think she kept the book grounded. Will make me read other books in the Dry Creek series.

Robert was tired of the usual women liking him for his money and he wasn't looking for
a women. A party in the wonderful town of Dry Creek brought him and Jenny together
through the circumstances.

While she was most concerned about doing her job, he became impressed with her and her "unimpressive" view of him. Mystery, danger, humor, romance, and mishaps make this a fun story to read. I recommend reading all of the Dry Creek series.

Fed up with jet-set gold diggers, Robert Buckwalter III was on the lookout for a faithful female who'd settle for a simple lifestyle out here in God's country. Jenny fit the bill--and Robert was willing to trade his fat wallet for a litle help from the man upstairs to win her over...
