All the talk of massive TBR piles, or TBR Reduction, makes me think that if I really had a decent place to read more reading would be done. Need a really good reading light - have the comfy recliner to relax in but the lighting is dreadful.

Any suggestions? where/how do you read?

Gail

In bed.  I even make my jewelry in bed:P  I have all of my shelves set up just so on my side of the bed, and a light with a magnifier on it that swivels out right over my little spot, so that's where I do just about all of my little hobbies.

I read on the couch, in the bed and in the bath.

I read on the couch. With a dog. The other dog sleeps on the floor. I need a bigger couch.

ETA: I also read while I eat, so I have usually keep a book at the kitchen table.

I can read anywhere but in bed.  I fall asleep too quickly when I try to read in bed.  One of my favorite places is actually at my computer desk.  My computer chair recllines and I prop my feet on the desk.  So I can kind of lay back with good back support and the arm rests are perfect for suporting my arms to hold up my book and no neck strain.

On the couch if DH isn't there with the TV blaring away.  Otherwise either in my office with my feet up on the guest chair, or in my reading nook in the master bedroom.

I have a nice soft rocking chair in my bedroom which is my favorite place to read, surrounded by all my shelves of books, with my netbook right next to me in case I have a wild urge to check PBS.
