I've rated this book 4 out of 5 stars. This is one of the better books I've read of Danielle Steel's in awhile. I enjoyed the story of the young girl abandoned by her mother as a child who then lost her father a few years later. She always enjoyed reading mysteries/crime thrillers and decided she wanted to write them one day. This is a story of how she wrote her gory murder stories under a pen name over the years because her father had told her no one would take a female crime writer seriously. Then she finds the right man "at the right time" who understands. So interesting I read the book in less than 24 hours.
