Very inspirational and nor preachy at all. Some of the writers hit personal notes so close to home it will bring tears. Other writers often use humorous touch. Each story in and by itself is worth reading.
This book is full of short blurbs from famous people describing a small bit of advice they received just at the right time in their lives to make a difference. It's great to read one or two when you just need a quick shot of inspiration. I thought it was a very good collection of essays.
This book is inspirational and very insightful.
