An environmental history of the Nashua River, from its discovery by Indians through the polluting years of the Industrial Revolution to the ambitious clean-up that revitalized it.

On the front cover it says: Paperback Plus.
In the same book more about how pollution can ruin a river and how concerned people can save it.

Beautifully illustrated, lots of detail. Gave us a lot to talk about. My five year old son continues to refer to it and ask to reread it
