I just couldn't get into this story. It's about darkness and the struggle against it: it's an original idea, but the story just didn't catch my attention. The writing style was lyrical, overly so, and not prosaic enough. So I found myself missing crucial parts in the plot because of the way they were written. Sad to say, didn't really like it much.
