This is a beautiful book of Romantic gifts. .Think of gentle country images captured in soft pastel watercolors and you will have the heart of this book. Paul Vaughan 's art is a mingling of fond child hood memories and delightful antiques from an earlier era. There is cross stitch, crocheting,painting, wreaths, pillows, decoupage, all done in a sweet old fashion romantic and nostalgic collection.

Great traditional & pretty crafts in this book that includes quilting, embellished towels sets, some cross stitch, wreaths, decorating plain clothing and using dried flowers in various crafts. My favorite is the fun and easy technique for turning a cheap plaster statue (I did this to a large plaster column to use in the garden for an end table next to the lawn swing) into a statue that looks like old metal.
