Hi everyone! I wanted to see if I could get some recommendations and thought to come here.

I wanted to know if anyone could recommend any good romances that have to do with music or with musician characters. I'd prefer it if they weren't overly graphic/erotic, if that's a concern. If anyone could give some recommendations, that'd be nice!

Thanks!

- Tracy

Any Way  You Want It by Kathy Love is about a lampire who was a famous composer. http://www.paperbackswap.com/book/details/9780758218568-Any+Way+You+Want+It

there's a silhouette romantic suspense that deals with music too by merline lovelace..I'll look for the title - Closer Encounters http://www.paperbackswap.com/book/details/9780373275090-Closer+Encounters+Intimate+Moments

not sure if this is what you're looking for though since music isn't the main focus but is part of the story - the Kathy Love books is the first in a series or trilogy but the 2nd book isn't about the same couple

Let's see.....off the top of my head:

Historicals

Liz Carlyle's Two Little Lies; I believe the heroine is an opera singer

Laura Lee Gurhke's - His Every Kiss; the hero is a composer and the heroine has some musical ability, too

Paranormal

Christine Feehan has a couple with either the hero or heroine being a musician, can't remember the titles though, they all kind of run together for me

Contemporary

One of the stories in Nora Roberts' Stanislaski family features a former ballet dancer who marries a composer; it's the one with Natasha

Out of these, the only one I really recommend is His Every Kiss

Small Town Girl-LaVyrle Spencer. Small town girl hits it big in the country music scene, now a famous singer she returns home to help her ailing mother and falls in love with the guy she spurned so many years ago.

Jackie Leigh (Deborah Smith) wrote a 2nd Chance at Love in which the heroine is a retired country music singer - just read it a few months ago and loved it. The title is ANGEL ON MY SHOULDER.

This isn't quite a romance.  But it has music.  Bobby Rex's Greatest Hit by Marianne Gingher.

And romances:

When Venus Fell by Deborah Smith

Cool Shade by Theresa Weir

Romances:

Back to the Bedroom by Janet Evanovich, a reprint of one of her early works, heroine is a professional cellist (sp?), short cute story with lots of silly humor.

Coming Undone by Susan Anderson, the heroine is a country music singer who has hit the big time, and the tabloids.
