A Tory Travers Mystery novel. Historical thriller. It was very good for a short read.

Travers-Alvarez mystery, but that's not all. Along with the contemporary cast and puzzle, there's connection to a deadly racial incident in 1923. First-rate story with great details.

Another great book by Aileen Schumacher--the dual time periods was interesting as was the ongoing relationship between Tory and Alvarez! Hope she writes another one soon!
