The story is about Lauren, an executive from London who stops off on a small Pacific island on her way to a vacation in New Zealand. The island is suddenly being threatened with a civil war and her only way out is with an arrogant stranger who insists on helping her, but in the process may expose a secret she would like to keep hidden.
