A royal wedding offers antonia fraser's investigator Jemima Shore a gilt edged occasion, giving us a brilliant display of her with & irony - following the events as they bring out the very best of British eccentricity to a murderous degree. Lots of fun at the expense of the waleses & Yorks & a titled family of royal biographers also comes in for a moment of teasing - an exciting performance.

A bizarre group of animal rights activists establishes the ground rules of its conspiracy to kidnap the bride on the eve of her wedding. The lady is Princess Amy, a 22 yr old princess engaged to marry Prince Ferdinand. The headstrong princess is the bait which they believe will call attention to the plight of animals. Jemima becomes a freelance commentator for American tv. the dramatic, chilling, blackly humerous tale unfolds with a rich mix of characters, wickedly funny observations of contemporay London life. Hang on, it's a fun ride through "royal ways" & a royal treat.
