The first book in what I think is a terrific series. (There will be five books in all) There is plenty of intrigue and action, and the characters are easy to relate to.

I really liked this book. While I could have wished for more of an emphasis on magic, the antics and intrique of the courts keep me highly entertained.

Found this book at a lending library, loved it so much I bought all three in the trilogy. Great author, great story line. If you like fantasy sci-fi, you'll love this series.
