Such a great story about two people in love at a young age (college) from different worlds and not able to make the commitment but will be driven back towards each other after many years and several marriages. Well written plot with intrigue, greed and envy to spice it up.

I totally enjoyed this book. It looks daunting (over 600 pages!) but once I started reading it, I could not put it down. It's a great saga with wonderful character development, romance, suspense, everything! Starts in the present and then flashes back 12 years. You can't wait to find out how the present and past intersect, and the story unfolds at just the right pace - not too slow and not too fast.

"Judith Michael" always puts out a good book, and this is no exception. It is essentially the story of three women and one man, and how one of the women affects and changes the lives of the others. The first part of the book is spent disliking Sybille, as the story moves from the scene of a plane crash back through the lives of Sybill and Valerie, and Nick. A wonderful read, richly detailed and with justice prevailing at the end. Also, it's a good story of love that endures. Mine was a 632-page book, with small print, and I had trouble putting it down!

Riches to rags and rags to riches. A little slow at times.

Wow, what a story. There is so much going on, you think, boy I must be to the end, and you're not. Nick, Valarie and Sybille are quite a trio. It's amazing how the authors intertwined their lives for 15 or so years, and the things they've done.... you'll have to read it to find out!
