Hardback. This is a GREAT book. It is a true story about police detectives working undercover to bust drug dealers and become addicted themselves. Gritty. Real insight into what undercover work means and feels like.

This is a very realistic look at what it takes to be an undercover narcotics cop and the thin line they must walk to be believable and to stay alive on the street. Made into a major motion picture starring Jason Patric and Jennifer Jason Leigh as the narcs, Sam Elliott as their boss, and Gregg Allman as the bad guy. Soundtrack by Eric Clapton ("Tears in Heaven" made its debut in this movie). Great book, great movie!

Street tough and gritty, written by a former narc who's seen how the system fails from the inside out,RUSH is a non-stop race to a devastating finish,a shattering free-fall into hell.
