Good, quick read. Not as "HOT" as the cover proclaims or event the book attempts to make it seem it will be. But I did enjoy the read and look forward to the next two books.

I thought this one was not up to her usual standards. Same formula, but the characters were weak. But, it's still Anne Stuart, and any of her books are better than many authors ever will be. It was enjoyable.

Just okay for me, a typical romance story set in the 1700's when debauchery seemed to be a normal way to live--yuk!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The hero was quite dark and the heroine too resisting, but it all came together in the end. Unfortunately, the ending came very quick and then the book ended. I will definitely read the other two books in this series.
