I received my first rwap yesterday :( !! It was marked wrong book received. I also got a note from the receiver. It said that she "received 2 copies of the same book." Then she asked if she should send it back or post it. The information about the book was in my account until she marked it rwap, so I believe my book was the one that she was supposed to get. I pm'ed her back, but I haven't heard from her since the first message. What should I do now?

If I read your post correctly, it seems that she requested two of the same book, I guess from two different people.  That being said, there is nothing wrong with the book, she made a mistake on her end by ordering two copies of the same book.  I wouldn't consider that a RWAP.  I think she shouldn't have RWAPed it and should have just realized her mistake and posted one of the two copies she received.  Maybe write her a polite note explaining such?  Can the RWAP be un-done by her?

did you remember to mark the book mailed?  It sounds like she had a book time out w/o being marked mailed but was sent anyway.  If you know you sent the correct book to her and marked it mailed then you just need to explain that to her.  you do not have to refund a credit if you know you are in the right.

I had someone ding me with a wrong book received becuase they weren't paying attention to the listing when they ordered.  They ordered the wrong binding and didn't notice until I pointed out that I sent a book that matched the listing.

If Laura and Carolyn are right, and your's was the 2nd book sent after another didn't mark their book mailed, then there is absolutely no reason for them to mark your book RWAP. Send them a kind note stating that RWAP is not to be used for such a thing, and that she should use the resolved button to change the marking to "Marked by Mistake" Even if you'd been the 1st person and had mailed your book without marking it, RWAP is still  not for that purpose. There was no damage to the book, and that is what that is for. Funny how people read (or don't read) things sometimes.

that's what I was thinking. Give the receiver a week to respond. Then go to the help center and do a search on "problem swaps". That will give you direction on how to proceed next.
