I just finished this and would like to hear some other opinions on it. I loved it, but I realize some people might have a problem with the aspect of the gay wedding. Jules is one of my favorite characters. I just wondered what someone else might have thought about it and how they think it compares to the rest of the series?

I haven't gotten that far in the series yet but I like Jules so far and well, I'm assuming that I'll take it in stride...I mean, it doesn't effect me really so I don't really have an opinion I don't guess as far as gay marriage in general. ok, not that I care to read graphic honeymood details! I can do without that part :-) but I really like Jules in the few I've read..he seems like a good guy. I need to get back to this series...some sorta dragged but the 4th adn 5th ones I really enjoyed then went back to reading the funny romances and erotica and these sorta got pushed back on the shelf!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVED this book!   I've been following Jules since the first book where he was mentioned.  Always found him an interesting character and wondered what had been planned for him.

Since I started reading this series, my own son has come out.  Although I've always had gay friends, it's different when its your own.  I love how she's handled the problems of Jules' happily ever after.

Especially love what Suz is doing with this book.  Donating ALL proceeds to a gay rights foundation.  She puts her money where her mouth is!

I enjoyed it. I was glad to see Jules get his HEA  with Robin. I also enjoyed that she included so many others in the story........Molly& Jones, Cosmo& Jane, Sam & Alyssa, Max & Gina, etc. I would like to know where Kenny is though. I wish he showed up in more stories.

I thought it was kind of funny when all the females turned up pg at the same time! Sam and Alyssa are funny as hell. Sam's explanation to Jules about Alyssa's hormone/sex problem due to her pregnancy was hilarious! I also really liked the part where all the spouses showed up to support and comfort Robin when Jules was reportedly captured along with Max in Afghanistan. As the wife of a retired USAF Special Forces (Black Ops) member, I have stood in Robin's fictional shoes many times. Waiting hours upon hours to hear if your loved ones are alive and safe is one of the most horrible things I have ever had to endure. I did it for 23 years and am very proud of my DH. But I am SO glad he's retired!

No mention of Kenny.  Mike Muldoon and Joan are mentioned also.  I wanted to hear about Stan and Teri, too!  And the Paoletti's are only mentioned in passing with Charlie having a bigger role than his parents!

I don't think there is anything wrong with gay marriages and I loved reading about Jules and Robin getting ready for theirs. I have a cousin who was married in a church wedding to his significant other, his mother helped officiate the ceremony. While I will admit it was strange seeing two guys in tuxes cutting the wedding cake, I am very happy for them that they found each other and wanted to cement their relationship.
