This is where we post our wishes - maybe things we collect, something we can no longer find in our area, things we have always wanted etc, etc. No wish is too big (though common sense is appreciated!); you never know what will turn up.

We must all abide by these PBS rules :
You may not wish for money, or monetary donations for any charities.  You may ask for things you collect for charities, such as stamps, pop can tabs, etc., but not for money. This includes 'gofundme' and other fund-raising events.
No buying or selling or advertising. No spam posts.
No wishing for credits.  Credits are bought, sold and loaned only in the Book Bazaar forum, or use the PBS Kiosk to purchase.
Do NOT ask for books, since books are swapped on the site and book deals are made in the Book Bazaar. Sorry, but you may not ask for free books of any kind. (Unpostable books are given away in the damaged book thread of the Bazaar and sometimes in the RAOK thread.  There is also a Damaged/Unpostable Virtual Box in the Games forum.)

Our own RAOK rules:
Please do not offer payment for the things you are sent, including postage. RAOKs are given freely, asking nothing in return except a thank you. You could pay it forward by granting a wish yourself.
Please limit your wishes to no more than 10. Lists could get very long. You can always edit as you go along.
Unlike many other forums, we ask that you do NOT reply within the threads. We do everything by PMs between members. This keeps the threads clutter-free and easy to use. When you come to this ***I Wish*** thread, you see wishes. In the ***RAOK*** thread, it's all about things we are giving away - simple and easy. And please do not post your address in the thread - it's all done via PM.
Please check in and answer your PMs. It's frustrating when people want to grant your wishes and don't hear from you!
PLEASE say THANK YOU to the person who grants your wish.  You may use our monthly ***Thank You*** thread, or you may acknowledge what you have received via a personal PM to the member(s) who granted your wishes. This is very important if you wish to continue to receive things from others.

Tips:
Check the RAOK thread before you post wishes -- the thing you want may already be there for the asking!  If you see a wish you can grant, just PM the poster for their address.

And please remember, if one of the moderators contacts you about a posting, then we are only trying to keep the forum running smoothly and according to PBS rules. If you are asked to change, move, or delete your post, please do so. Most of you know that the PBS team does get involved to edit posts, and accounts do get suspended, if rules are broken. We hate to see that happen to our fellow RAOKers!

If you have questions, feel free to contact me.

Lorinda! It is cool to see a post from you and that bird is so cute :)

I still don't know how to post pictures on here so will just wish everyone a Blessed and Sunny September :)

For those of you who go to Michael's, (please don't make a special trip, just if you are there anyway :), I would appreciate so much if you would take a gander in the sticker section for me. A month or more ago I saw (I think they were K & C brand but could have also been Jolee or Soft Spoken...I don't think they were my usual Sticko brand) a package of church choir stickers. They were bright colors and I think had some instruments, too. I know for sure one said "Make a Joyful Noise Unto the Lord." I pray to be doing that in an extra way when I join my church's choir. I'd love to get these in general but also as a gift for the choir director. I think he'd (or his daughters would anyway) like them. They were on clearance then so may be discontinued now. Definitely an example of getting something you truly have use for/need when you see it especially when its a clearance item. I'd appreciate so much any of you who go to Michael's looking for a package of those for me. Or if you know what I'm talking about please tell me who makes them so I can easier search.

An extra stamp or two are always most appreciated and will be used to spread cheer. Prayers that I am moving forward with choir as God is directing me and also becoming more involved with church would be awesome and I thank you.

Hugs to all. God Bless You.

Sophia - I think that the I Wish OP is the same every month as the guidelines don't change from month to month. I also think the common sense line is meant to be tongue in cheek more than anything, as in "no wish is too big" except maybe a car, or a house, etc. You get the picture. None of it is intended personally toward any particular member.

My 15 year old niece has just gotten into crocheting and would love to have any supplies you no longer need.  The few things that she has made already have been incredible.  She definitely has talent and I'd love to see her do more.  I'm not even sure what all she needs....needles, yarn, patterns?  Thank you!

boxtops and labels for Education-- I give them to a local school.

Coupons for 'adult' cereal, baby coupons for my grand babies for diapers, wipes, and grooming supplies (Johnson & Johnson or Burt's Bees as examples), mother's milk tea coupons (found at Babies R Us)

More prayers needed:

Please keep Ana in your thoughts and prayers.   Baby came 5 days late.  She ended up having another c-section and the meds aren't handling her pain.  Chase was 8 lbs, 7oz and 21.5 inches long, born 12:41 am on 21 August. He has a beautiful head of long straight black hair just like his brother Cole had last year. (Cole is 16 months old now and has been my resposibility since I got here.)  Ana is getting almost daily phone calls from her sub as the lady seems not to know how to use technology so that is stressful too.

My Mom (Grace) needs prayers again.  There was another spot of melanoma on her arm (had one taken off in April, but oncology didn't follow up like they were supposed to) so she had to have another chunk removed and a large graft from her thigh put on this one. Results of scan show no spread of the cancer. She is recuperating at home and seems to be in good spirits.

Happy September!

My wishes this month are:

heart Coke Cokes (always useful!)

heart Any toys for a one year old girl (she especially loves "Sophia The First" and "Doc McStuffins")

heart If anyone has those free subscriptions to beauty/fashion or entertainment magazines, I would love one. Curling up with a new magazine is part of my "me time". lol.

heart This one might be a long shot but the issue of "Entertainment Weekly" from August with Lady Gaga on the cover. I am a huge fan of "American Horror Story" and wanted that issue because it contains so many pics for the new season but it was sold out everywhere I looked. I would be very grateful!
