Okay - everybody in the path of this upcoming storm, please stay safe and I hope your pantries are loaded and generators fired up and ready to go. I am sooo glad that I don't have to worry about this kind of weather anymore...

It sounds like the northeast is really going to get hammered.  We are getting snow on Sat night/Sunday but nothing like this!  Stay safe everyone.

Looks like a real mess. Just heard that 23 million people are under a blizzard warning.  Wow!

Bonnie is in RI and she said they have called off school for tomorrow so she will be at home. But her husband has to work so he is leaving early and preparing for the night or so away.  She doesn't have a generator. Her kitchen is all electric, and they took out the wood stove when they remodeled.  Let's hope she doesn't lose power.  The storm of 78 was a blast she said, she was in college and hunkered down with a group of friends, she said they had a blast!

It is just raining right now here in Wilmington, Delaware but we seem to be in the 1 to 3 inch of snow zone just below Philadelphia.  The weather people are so frenzied I hope they end up a bit disappointed for all of you in New England --- I certainly hope the power outages do not turn out to be as bad as they are predicting.

Oh my, where's my head? I first read this as, and I hope your panties are loaded. surpriseblush

So far, just rain, but the forecast is for up to 6 inches. I think I'll stay out of water of any type for awhile. smiley

LOL Genie - I would have been mortified if I'd actually written that! Good idea - stay away from water for now! Drinking and showering may be okay though - wink

Just looking at images on CNN.com. WTH is with the New York women wandering around in short skirts and high heels? Wasn't there enough advance notice so they'd have the common sense to at least tote a pair of jeans and tennis shoes?
