In the midst of a sweltering heat wave, Washington D.C., has became known as a crime zone. Three young women in there 20's have been strangled to death with a priests amice and a note pinned to all of them. The police call in a psychiatrist to help them with a case. As the case proceeds one police officer, Ben Paris, and the psychiatrist, Dr. Tess Court become more close and the flame of passion flares between them. What they dont know is that someone else has his eye on Tess and he is waiting for an oppurtunity to grant his special brand of absolution.
