Wileyville, Kentucky, needs a graveyard superintendent. Accepting the mayor's proposition, Sadie adds 'Fraidy Sadie the Cemetery Lady to the other roles that sometimes seem unreal to her--former Dogwood Blossom Queen, pharmacist's wife, mother of two teenagers, daughter of a man who fancies himself King Soloman-or King Lear? But her daddy's antics and a journey with her sisters into the past bring Sadie a stunning revelation, and an understanding or what she's been waiting for. (back cover)

Takes place in Kentucky, so already you know this book is gonna be good. The city of Wileyville needs a graveyard superintendent and they have asked Sadie--she accepts the position and from there things get laugh out loud funny. This is quite a heart warming and uplifting read. I really felt good when i finished this book--like i had gone out with friends and had a wonderful time.

And it had a proposition for her. . .
