I'm so excited, a friend and I are both going to Ally Training tomorrow. I don't deal with many students in my current job, but if I get this job I'm interviewing for, I'll be dealing with hundreds of them. I will be proud to have the Safe Zone card to put on my office door. I'm so glad that our university does this!

My partner trains trainers to do the safe zone training.  It's great to hear people so excited about it!  I think it must make a difference on campuses across the country.

I was really surpised to discover that we didn't already have an established Safe Zone program. But, this is the deep south, so I suppose it shouldn't be surprising. I do wish the training had been longer, but hopefullly they'll be able to do programs  a couple of times a year.

I 've never heard of this. What is involved?
