This is an adaptation of the Chinese "Xi-You_Ji" legend, but don't expect another "Dragonball". Although the idea of the adaptation is good, the execution of it just didn't hold my interest. The story seemed disjointed... not a very good flow to what was going on.

The artwork reminded me of the "Dragon Knights" manga (which I don't particularly care for, but that's just my personal taste).

Parental advisory: mild nudity, swearing, drinking, and smoking. Oh, and mahjong (can't have the kids seeing that).
