Another engrossing novel ny Jodi Picoult. Okay--maybe she's a little formulaic--but she sure is riveting!

Another can't-put-it-down novel from Jodi Picoult. Some of the characters from her book "The Pact" reappear in this story, which I found a little bit distracting. The "surprises" towards the end of the book weren't that surprising to me, but it was still an enjoyable read.

This _Crucible_ knock-off is probably my least favorite of her books. Probably because it is the most unbelievable. I mean how could someone be convicted once for a crime he did not commit and then nearly be convicted of the same crime again? It's just ridiculous.

I guess it's nice that Jordan McAfee is back in it - that's one of the redeeming facets. It also follows her same courtroom formula.

I usually love Jodi Picoult. I like how she tackles various issues. But, this is not her best work. It was slow starting and I felt like I knew how it ended before I even started, Kind of predictable. Turns out it was an OKAY book but like I said not her best.
