Has anyone read Sally Wright's series about Ben Reese, a 1960s archivist at a small private college in fictional Hillsdale, Ohio? If so, would you recommend these books?

Thanks, Anna.  I've not read these and I wasn't even familiar with the author but for some reason, the first book in the series is on hold for me at my local library and a few of the titles in the series have found their way onto my RL.  Sheesh!

Have read the first two, the third is on by TBR pile and have the others on my WL.  I have really enjoyed them.  Not really a cozy, not a thriller.  I like the main character and the stories are interesting...ditto the time period, 1960s.  Give them a try!

I've read a couple and I liked them. In one, can't remember the title, Ben goes to England for a semester at an English university.
