The same person ordered 4 books from me during a 2-for-1 deal. I would like to send them all together in one package. I use the PBS "auto-credit" sysytem...just seems easier than using the post office.

Here's my problem: Both books are listed as "to be shipped". Can I still get 2 credits shipping all the books in the same package, or do I need to ship 2 separate packages to the same address?

help, please! :-)

As long as the receiver marks each book received, you will get your separate credits.  You can ship them altogether.  If you want to ship them PBS-DC, the system should offer you the option of a multiple shipping label.  Don't forget to add additional postage for the extra 2 books.

If you are wondering if you will get both credits now without printing out 2 wrappers the answer is no. You would either have to print out 2 wrappers or print out one wrapper and then  wait until the person recieved the books and they would mark the second one as been recieved. Make sure you click on the print wrapper screen( but don't actually print it- unless you are doing so for the immediate credit) of the second book or it will time out and you won't get your credit.

Thanks...what I'm worried about is that the system says If I dont mail books by a certain date, I cannot mail them at all...I dont see a multible shipping option...what is pbs-dc?

I shipped three and use the PBS postage.  I received instant credit for the first book and then when they received the books I got the other two credits.  I just thought it was easier to send them in a box then individual labels.

Thanks suzanne  ^_^ ...I think I will do that...before I didnt see how to mark the book mailed without printing out two separate wrappers, but now I see that I can just click print wrapper, than x out the screen and mark it has been mailed lol...I just wish there was a better way...I could see scammers taking advantage of that =[

Alison, it wouldn't do any good for a scammer to use the x out of the print window, if they didn't send the book, it would go lost, and they wouldn't get their credit. The only way you get a credit is by the member marking it rec'd, buying PBS-DC and having it scanned at delivery or enroute, or PBS-Postage, which gives you instant credit. For the later two, you have to spend money to print them, and the PO has to scan them. You could get away with one time not sending and say the PO lost it, but after that, red flags would wave! So scammer wouldn't get very far :)

Glad to know Sherry! :-)

The book is still appearing as "book to mail", even after I click It has been mailed. I hope that doesn't prevent me from getting credit for it! :(

It's pretty common. If you use the pre-printed postage make sure to adjust the weight to include the other books and wrapping.  Access the address for both books and make sure you mark them both mailed.  You'll get one credit right away and the other one you'll get when the person marks them mailed.  It didn't do a bulk mailing label because the person added the 2nd book after completing the first order and not using the add a another book option.

Thanks Mary! ^_^

That explains no-bulk option showing up.

I clicked it had been mailed today and it worked...must have been a glitch yesterday.
