Does anyone have the books The Cajun Cowboy and The Red Hot Cajun by: Sandra Hill?  I am looking for a deal on both.  Thanks for the help.  Has anyone read this series?  Is it pretty good?

Johnna

I haven't gotten to this series yet but seems like there's a book bfore these 'love potion'? seems like that's the title. I hve several of her books in my TBR but haven't gotten to them though the few I've read I enjoyed. someone here posted a month or so ago in one of the weekly what we're reading threads about the Jinx series and seems like she was liking those pretty well..I think they're cajun as well but not sure.

Thanks!  I have Tall, Dark and Cajun.  I just thought that the ones with Cajun in the title were in this series.  I read some of her Viking series and they were okay.  I was hoping that these would be better.

http://www.paperbackswap.com/book/details/9780505523495-The+Love+Potion+Time+of+Your+Life  one of the reviewers here says this one (love potion) precedes the other 3 but havne't read them yet so don't know how important it is..but I hate getting books out of order!

when you read them post in our weekly 'what we're reading ' thread and let us know how they are!

All four books are a hoot!  Some of the character from these Cajun books show up in the Jinx books also.

BTW I'd read them in order.

Marcia turned me on to Sandra Hills' books, both the Cajun and Viking series (I and II), and I LOVE them all!

Her web site used to have a free short ebook on it, which may still be there.  IIRC it was 30 or so pages and involved characters from her Viking series.

I have a big stack of Sandra Hill books I haven't gotten into yet, but just book 4 of the Cajun Books - I think it's Red Hot Cajun that's on my shelf.  I've slowly picked up most of the Viking books, and I have those and The Love Potion, Sweeter Savage Love, and The Tarnished Lady in my TBR stuff.

*ETA:  Okay, let me ammend that...  I guess I just now really paid attention to the thread and The Love Potion is one of them:P  So I have two.  Haven't read either one, but I don't know that I will.  I'm not planning to anytime soon anyway, so I don't mind letting go of these if you're having trouble finding them.  Contemporaries are usually low on the priority list:P

Kim, can you offer a deal on both of those?  I need them both and have limited credits!  Thanks, Johnna

You can have them 2 for 1 if you want them, Johnna.  I seriously don't think I'm going to read them:P  If that works for you, just order the one that's on my shelf and I'll send them both.

GREAT series! I love the wacky family.

Love potion precedes the others but its not necessary. They always do a backgroundin all the books and the characters are recurring. Its 4 brothers. if you love these, try the JINX series. In the most recent JINX book, T John is all grown up (youngest brother from Cajun series) anf Tante Lula (crazy grandma) is in them as well.

Sweet Savage Love ist he second of a two part series. The First is Frankly My Dear. LOOSELY linekd to these (they do a cameo in Frankly My dear) is DESPERADO.

Thanks for the information.  I will have to look for those also, when I have more credits!
