Looking for Christmas presents for DS.  He like the Wayfarer Redemption Series, years ago.  I came across the DarkGlass Mountain Series books 1&2 bout can't seem to find out if Book 3 is available or not.  check her websits no luck there.

Has anyone read these The Serpent Bride & The Twisted Citadel?  Would they be along the same lines as the Wayfarer series?  Would he like them?

The title of the first makes me think it might be more of a Female Read.  Anybody have any helpful answers.

Book 3 in the DarkGlass Mountain series is "The Infinity Gate" and came out this past summer in hardcover and Kindle versions.

I haven't read anything from the DarkGlass series, so I can't comment.

I haven't read the Serpent Bride, or the Twisted Citadel, but I have read the Wayfarer's redemption. I'd suggest "The Name of the Wind" by Patrick Rothfuss, the "Chronicles of Elantra" series by Michelle Sagara (Book 1 is Cast in Shadow), "The Belgariad" by David Eddings, "The Deed of Paksenarrion" by Elizabeth Moon, and the Black Jewels series by Anne Bishop.
