I knew a good bit about Franklin and Eleanor's relationship, but nothing about Eleanor's relationship with her mother-in-law. This was a very interesting book with lots of insight into the reasons Eleanor acted as she did. The author's research has shed new light onto one of the most impressive and inspiring first ladies our country has ever had.

Fascinating look into the rise of Eleanor and Franklin Roosevelt and his mother, Sara and how she influenced and guided their lives - beginning to end. I really enjoyed this book.
