I have used this book extensively while teaching social studies to 2nd, 3rd and even 4th grade homeschoolers. It is highly entertaining and full of information about early colonial life.

Wonderful series! Glossy full-color photo pages, plus written journal of the daily life of one young girl living in Pilgrim times. (re-enacted by children of today dressed in costume, so the reader really feels as if she is there with the pilgrims!)

A simple overview of a girl's day. It seems to be focused on pointing out the hardships of life in that time but does so by small mentions of them. I wish it was a bit more informative and even longer, but it was not a bad book. Definitely one I wish I could have gotten from the library instead.
