But when she returned to the Arizone Territory, a perplexing dream began to haunt her; a vision of a golden eagel carrying her mother to safety and beckoning her home. Whether her mother was still alive or now, Shoshana knew she must answer the mysterious call. Ignoring her adoptive father's warnings tha the hills hid wild animals, a vicious scalp hunter and a Chiracahua chief bent on seeking justice for a long-ago massacre, she set out to explore the place of her birth. But would she find the woman who'd been shot down before her very eyes, the man who would gladly kill her for her flowing blue-black hair, or the legendary warrior whose honor was admired even in Fort Chance, and whose bronzed good looks were surpassed only by his....SAVAGE COURAGE

This was okay, certainly not the worst Savage, however, I was never really into it. I think it got into more nature, etc than the storyline between Storm and Shoshanna. Shoshanna, had been raised by a white family all of her life. What she doesn't realize until she's older is that the white father is the man that killed her Apache tribe. Later, when meeting Storm she finds out that her father also killed Storm's Apache tribe and they begin to plot thier revenge.
