This is one of my ALL TIME favortie movies.  Has anyone else here seen it? What do you think?  I think it resonates most with people who have grown up in religious American families, but I think any freethinker could appreciate it.

Best quote of the movie: "Why would God make us all so different if he wanted us to be the same?"

I disagree.  The best line is clearly,

"Did I ever tell you about the time I shoplifted a frozen turkey out of a Piggly Wiggly wearing only a tube top and daisy dukes?"

Or how about -

"I crashed my van into Jesus!"

I loved that movie, it was a nice stab at religion.

I am a born again christian in eastern KY so this movie was a breath of fresh reality, lol. I think it really demonstrated that religion is not a cage to trap people in, even though sadly that does seem to be the case anymore.
