I'm not at all into werewolves but the previews for this looked so good.  In my opinion,  this film was awesome all around.  Great acting, sets, special effects, gorgeous horses, scary dogs, creepy atmosphere, fantastic werewolf howling.............

And ladies...Benicio Del Toro...mmmmmmmm....yummy.

Thanks for the post about the movie...I am a werewolf freak so I am looking forward to this one. You always hope they live up to your imagination.

I thought it was good, not great.  The cgi werewolves just looked silly to me, not nearly as freaky as the ones in Dog Soldiers.  But I loved Benicio del Toro & Hugo Weaving.

I have to see if I can get someone to come with me - maybe I'll try & force the hubby.  I really don't like computer graphics in any money -  But I like del Toro and Hopkins.  I love almost any werewolf movie - old or new.   (ps - I also loved Dog Soldiers!)

I really liked Dog Soldiers too. A liitle humor is always nice in a horror  book or movie.

Just saw The Wolfman...I don't think it was actually scary but the atmosphere was spot on. Everything was dark and spooky and creepy. I like the fact that the werewolves were more traditional (like the original movie) but updated in special effects level. Gotta love anthony Hopkins too. And Del Toro was pretty goodt.
