Incredible. Amazing to me that many of these people were still alive in '94, not that long ago, & what they went through......oh lord.
It makes me want to read Schindler's List. I especially like the photos that accompany the text, it really gives the book that personal look into the surviviors lives. How most of them just barely escaped death & by some small miracle ended up on the list is haunting.

I give five stars to a book that interests me until the last page, so this one gets five stars. I have read many holocaust books, but this one is different in that it contains the stories of many of the people who worked for Schindler in their own words. And a really nice addition is finding out about their situation now. It is a testament to the resiliance of them that most of these who survived have done well, even becoming successful despite their terrible ordeal.
