I have a 26 volume encyclopedia set. The title is Growing Up with Science: the illustrated encyclopedia of Invention.  They are slim volumes (avg approx 100 pages) and cover every invention ever made and all the basic physical science principles, alphabetically arranged.

The books are in excellent condition, no smells, no stains and many feel like they have never been opened. The publisher is H.S. Stuttman, Inc. Lots of photos, drawings and diagrams.

The ISBN number of the volume in front of me is 0874758416. It is volume 4 and the inner cover has this blurb: Growing up with Science: an alphabetic encyclopedia that answers for younger readers the "hows," "whats," and "whys" of the scientific world in which they live. Among subjects discussed in this volume: cathode ray tube, ceramics, chemistry, clocks and watches, coal mining, communications satellites, computer graphic, cooling systems, dams. The copyright is1987, but all but the most recent developments will be unchanged information.

These are designed for middle school, but upper elem. would have no trouble with the language and even high school aged kids would find these books a valuable resource for an overview of any subject, giving them a place to start for further research.

I'd like 6 credits for the whole set. Send me a PM if you have any questions.

Sending someone credits is described in the hellp documents, I believe. I haven't done that yet. I think you have to add the person to your buddy list and go from there.

I think I've replied to your PM. Let me know.

Thanks!
