This is the first in a series called The Science Fiction Hall of Fame. It is a collection of short stories dating from the 1930's thru until the early part of the 1960's. All of the real "great" of science fiction of the early - mid 20th century are represented here - one story from each author so a reader can get a good feel of the style of writing of many authors from this period. The stories were selected by vote by the Science Fiction Writers of America.

There are so many great stories here but my personal recommendation would be the story by Arthur C. Clarke called "The Nine Billion Names of God"

Enjoy!
