This is a tory of a small world War II warship that was engated in anti-submarine and convoy activities in the Eastern Sea Frontier of the United States. The story is based on a diary kept by the author under difficult conditions, the most important being that it was against regulations. This regulation hinged on the fundamentally sound theory that such material might fall into enemy hands and thus furnish information on the movement of ships and men.
