The search function on my bookshelf does not work.  I have to scroll down every page to find a book so I can delete it.  Does anyone know why or if there is a cure?

This is part of the larger search issue. The roll out of the updated website did not work well with the older search feature. Tests had shown that it would work. It did not. The Advanced Search and the banner are getting first attention in trying to fix.

The saved searches and the bookshelf search will be later.

Generally, I strive to be positive and supportive in all aspects of life, but this situation is SO frustrating!  I know it's a "first world" problem, but it's ridiculous that the fix is taking so long for a website where I'm paying $$ for access.  Grrrrr!!!

So weird that stuff is working for some of us and not others.  I just used search by genre and by author only ( no title) and they both worked.  My bookshelf has no duplicates listed, but is missing the page numbers  and buttons to go 'next' and 'back'.

I couldn't search my bookshelf yesterday, but I think that is the first time I have tried recently. I've been able to search the site for books by title & ISBN the whole time without any problems.

Monday and Tuesday I tried using the search feature on my bookshelf - my bookshelf would show up as 7 pages of book titles, but when I put in a title in the search box the results were a one page listing of every title I had (350+). - that was just to double check that a book that showed up on my Reminders List as available had not already been ordered by me earlier. Sometimes I have the same title on my Wish List and Reminders List (same and/or alternate ISBN's) and if it gets fulfilled by my Wish List I don't remember to take it off my Reminders List (which is over 7,000 titles). I have in the past ordered 2 or more copies of the same book -

Friday I got a book deal request (25/6) - my books are stored in boxes with lids and stacked in the guest room - each box has the Posted Date(s) taped on the outside of the box. To find a book I have to know what the posted date is and then look for that Posted Date on the boxes. When I get a book request from PBS the Posted Date is always a p/o the Request - just go look in the respective box and there it is...but when I go look for the freebies that are p/o the deal I have to searcg my bookshelf listing to find the Posted Date so that I can 'pull' each freebie book - I later use the same search feature to refind the freebie title so that I can use the 'Mail To A Friend' feature to have the book(s) removed from my bookshelf by PBS as well as to add the book title to the shipping label by PBS.

Friday when I looked at my bookshelf I no longer had 7 pages of 50 titles per page - I had 1 page of 350+ books, but...when I used the search feature it worked (kinda). I was able to search for 15 out of 19 books and got my Posted Date and was able to remove the titles using the "Mail to a Friend" feature.

There were 4 books which did not so up on my bookshelf, nor when I did a search of my bookshelf. BUT, when I went to the PBS Homepage and put the title in the search box, it took me to the book page and on that page I got an indictor that the book was posted on my bookshelf and there was a box to select that offered the 'Mail To A Friend' - when I selected that feature it took me straight to my bookshelf and (eventually) all 4 titles were there on my bookshelf - I was able to get the psted date and also use the Mail to a Friend feature to remove the book from my bookshelf as well as add it to the shipping label.

I'll be glad when PBS gets all the 'links' out of their (book) Search features in all it's variations.
I see a lot of other kinks on other pages - displays are off, some puncuation marks are not properly displayed or do what they were meant to do. They are things you can overlook, but it'll be nice when they all get fixed and things get back to abby-normal -
