Hey everyone,

This is a topic we discussed when PBS was sending out surveys ages ago ... and I'm not sure if there is a resolution. I'm looking for Steve Perry's Matador Series, but it looks like no same sender has multiple books in the series. Is there a way of finding a sender who has a bunch of books in one series, even if they are not first on the list?

I would gladly take a bunch of books off one person's hands and save his/her shipping than order from five different folk, if that's possible. This was a feature I remember many people wanted that PBS surveyed us. I've been out of the PBS loop since then!

Thanks in advance and hope everyone is enjoying their Sundays!

There is not really a good way to do this yet. You can search the Boxer members' shelves to see if one of them has multiples. You can also post in the Book Bazaar (if none of them are wish listed) asking if someone has more than one on their shelf. There is a thread there for people with multiple books by one author, you could browse that and see if someone has who you are looking for.  Some of the Genre forums do have a thread set up for "is this on your shelf" posts that you could post in too.

Dear Melanie,

Thanks for this. Too bad PBS hasn't installed that feature....

Have a great day!

If they aren't WL books you could also put a post in the book bazaar for what you are looking for and see what happens.

Sometimes I will open 2 PBS windows.  I'll start the order for 1 of the books on page and then another of the books on the next page.  Before I finalize the order, I'll hit Order More From Member button and see if oen of them has both books.

Yeah doesn't always work but it frequently does.   I've had really good luck with doing the book bazaar/bookshelf threads.  Usually I even get offered a deal because someone is happy to send more than 1 book to someone.

I hope you find a way to figure this out.  It is always good to order from the same sender.  Saves them money on postage.

Dear everyone,

Thanks for replying, firstly. Secondly, I really haven't found a better solution than what's named here. Ellen, that's a brilliant point re: ordering a book later in the series.

It SEEMED like PBS was going to develop this feature, sometime ago, but too bad ... I guess we can keep our fingers crossed. (I think I would like this feature better than the book bazaar!)

Have a great Friday!

I just joined this week and would like to know what is the best way to post a set of 6 books, "The Green Mile" by Stephen King, "a novel in 6 parts"?
