This is a companion study/workbook to go with Search for Significance by Robert McGee. McGee points out that most people look to the opinions of others, rather than God's Word to find their self-worth. The 12 week study is Biblically based, and stresses finding satisfaction and happiness through a close relationship with God, rather than on opinion or performance. It's just an outstanding book!

Can be a difficult read, but worth it! This shows you who you are in Christ and why we do what we do and not succeed.

Search for Significance is a Christian counseling book. It stresses reliance on God rather than on people's opinions when it comes to our self-worth. Excellent book! It mixes psychology and spirituality. McGee is a psychologist and a Christian. His knowledge makes this a powerful book about how to find balance and fulfillment in our lives.

this is an excellent book that teaches people to base their self-worth in relation to God and how He views us rather than what the world tells us. This book would be a blessing to anyone, but would especially speak to people who have issues with self-worth, self-image, etc. This book is biblical which is also of utmost importance these days. McGee does not just use pychological mumbo jumbo, but rather gets to the heart of the issue with God's Word as our standard.

Dr. McGee's book is proof positive that sound Christian doctrine and compassionate counseling can go together. This is not some feel-good treatise about how we're all entitled to health and prosperity. From what I've read of it so far (I have another copy) it is a Bible-based approach to helping people to become whole.
