I personally have no interest in children's books...  is there a way to exclude a genre when searching a bookshelf?

You can filter to look at a specific genre.  Though, I don't think there is a way to exclude a specific genre.

Seems like genre selection is the easiet way to go.

I am sure I miss a lot of other books I would read because I look at shelves based on the Mystery/Thriller genre.  However, its the only way to get through some of the very large bookshelves that have genres I am not interested in.

I think I prefer a smaller book shelf to having to select a genre to search.

In case you missed the topic there is a way to search a large bookshelf for only books that match books on your reminder list http://www.paperbackswap.com/forum/topic.php?t=163333

I'll have to give it a try.
