I'm also searching for a title of a book I read long ago.  Read this one when I was 15 or 16 which would make it 15 or 14 years ago - approximately 1994 or 1993.  I remember it was a historical book with the typical bodice ripper cover in hues of yellow and orange.  Not sure of the exact time period but the heroine was sent to a whore house to learn about relations between men and women.  She was a rich girl and I'm pretty sure was intended to marry.  Anyway she goes to the house of working girls and I believe becomes very sick with a fever.  Our hero then comes in and ravishes her thinking she is a whore when she is not - and she is so sick she can't fight back or tell him who she really is.  I know she then becomes pregnant and in the end everything is good and she marrys him.

So does anyone remember this one?  It would be fun to find it and read it again after all these years.  I remember my friend let me read the book because it was soo saucy and hot!  :)

Forever In My Heart (Zebra Historical Romance) This sounds like the book you want. The heroine accidentally ends up at a brothel when she is separated from her friends. She is very sick and the Madam helps her.and then you know what happens. She is rich and lives in N.Y.  This is the same book I recommended for your Bodice Ripper,  LOL,  so if it's not the book you're looking for, I believe you would like this one.
