I'm loving this book! Brenda Coulter has a winner here and I am delighted to have found it on PBS!
The plot has twists and turns and I am racing through and savoring it all as well. (When I finish I'll add my final take.)
I love the characters and that's what makes a book GOOD to me.

Sam is a guy that stole Victoria's heart in many little ways but he does not fit into her life. She likes thinks safe and orderly and he is risk taker. She is an archivist in a college library and he can't even read.
She is determined that she knows what kind of man she wants to find and marry someday and Sam does not fit her ideal man mold at all. To top it off even her parents don't like him and want her to marry someone calm and steady.

Excellent read! This story caught my attention at the first page and never let go throughout the book! Tori and Sam were as different as night and day--which was one of their problems. It was enchanting the way Sam courted and romanced Tori. Then it was frustrating when her boyfriend came back from out of town. Well-written. This book is a keeper!
