Personally I find this way better than her Vampire Diaries books. I still love them do not get me wrong. But this has blackmail, love that can never happen, magic, witch hunts, and many other mysteries. It kept me up at night and I couldn't wait to get my hands on the next one. And now that I have finished it I was pleasantly surprised.

I loved the first volume of this book, loved the tv series (which may have skewed my feelings about this book) but overall a little disappointed with how abrupt the ending seemed to be within the story. We had learned so many details about characters that I felt there was something missing when I was finished.

Just finished the conclusion....Upside - This book really picked up and everything started to unfold. Downside - Ending was predictable and the "villain" didn't seem all that scary or tough after all. Pretty good read overall. One of the better Y&A witch series. Thinking I might have to pick up bk 4, even though it is written by a ghost writer.
