This was by far one of the best books I've ever read. The 3 men, her brother and 2 friends, are a riot, not to mention HOT. I could imagine them doing everything the book said they did. The men at the firehouse were great secondary characters, and I would love to read stories about them, especially A.J. and Mike. Toni's emotions played on mine as if I were her. I laughed and cried right along with her.

This is definitely a keeper book, but with so many of you waiting to read it, I'll have to let it go so all of you can enjoy it as much as I did. Maybe I'll find one and buy it, if I'm lucky.

A wonderful book - loved it. Can 2 people who have been friends for a very long time fall in love and make a life for themselves? This is a funny yet sweet story of misunderstandings and missteps in a relationship that transitions from friends to lovers. I was pulling for Simon and Toni to resolve the issues between them even when it looking like it might not happen. The banter between the 3 male friends was wonderfully done and I feel added greatly to the story.
Although this book is published by a company that usually does erotica, I would not classify this book as erotica. Rather it is a very wonderful love story. I actually when AHHH when I finished the book.

This was the best book I've read in a while! It was funny, touching, and sad all at the same time. Being married to a fireman and knowing how they are at the fire station, it was nice to see some "TAME" firemen. tehehe
Definately a book I woud reccommend to anyone over the age of teen.

I really enjoyed this book and the plot was really great but my only problem was that since it was published by Samhain, you would think is erotica (since the book is priced that way too) but it actually wasn't. This was just like any contemporary romance novel, just beware of that.

I absolutely loved this story, and it was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon when I needed to sit around and wait for someone... and yet, wow, I cannot help but to have been negatively impacted by the huge number of grammatical errors in this book - I think the editor either did not get hired or simply gave up on this one... the errors all made me pause and wonder just what it was that Maya was trying to say... and the misuse of words like affect for effect... and mid-rift for midriff.... oh boy.... BUT... great story, very sweet!

Not my favorite Maya Banks book. Don't be fooled by the Samhain Publishing - definelty PG17 or R rating not X. Thought it was kind of slow. Didn't actually care for Simon. Liked AJ better. lol!
