Seymour Simon is one of my favorite science writers. This time around he is writing an easy reader book for children who are learning to read. The illustrations in this book are color photographs. These nonfiction easy readers are great for children who prefer facts and informational type books to fiction, when they are learning to read.

Also wonderful are the picture books in science topics by Seymour Simon.
