It was a good story.
This story was a little slow to get started, but by about 100 pages in, I was hooked. Watching Charlotte mature in her faith and as a woman made a story that was hard to put down, as well as the development of her unexpected relationships with her stepbrother and her eventual mate. I hope we find out how they are faring sometime in another book.
Good story, but don't believe it is as good as the first two in the Shaker series (The Outsider #1 and The Believer #2).
