Another great Koontz book --- unexpected twists, crazy science, crazy phenomena, and great characters (who's relationships are strong, and the ties are clear).

How do you fight evil - when evil lurks in the dark - and you can't go out during the day?
Children are being snatched in the town, and the police are covering it up. Add to that, a darkened, shut down army base where once animals and humans were subject to "trials"...that may still be going on.

In my opinion, the Christopher Snow books are the best work Dean Koontz has produced. Even if you don't like Koontz's usual thrillers, you might find you enjoy "Seize The Night" and "Fear Nothing".

You can read this book without having read the first book ("Fear Nothing"), but events and characters actions do make more sense if you read the books in order.

Strange story about a boy who cannot be in the sunlight so he wanders at night. This is a page turner/burner.

Like walking in quicksand. There may be a story in there somewhere, but not worth the effort to wade thru the repetitious descriptive detail to pull it out.

I really liked this book - it is typical Koontz. So if you like Koontz, you will like all of his Moonlight Bay series. I wish he would continue with them.

Enjoyed the first one better, this one I could put it down for a day or two and come back and pick it back up. That first one I made time to sit down and read it, it was that good.
