I got a PBS e-mail wanting to know if my friends had received a couple books.  Yes, they have. So it's telling me to mark it received. How do we mark received something that was mailed to a friend?  When I click on the link it just brings me to my account page and I can't find any way to mark it.

I'd been wondering if I was now stuck with this tab.

When you "mail to a friend" both ends of the transaction show up on your tabs. To clear it you need to mark it as received.

Here's the Help Doc:

If you would like to send a book which is currently Posted as available ON YOUR BOOKSHELF to a friend (PBS member or non-PBS member):

  • Go to your Bookshelf
  • Find the book you want to send in the list
  • Click the book title to see the Book Details page.
  • Click mail to a Friend on the upper right
  • Fill in the name and address where you want the book sent
    • Print out the wrapper and send the book as usual
    • The transaction will appear on your account page on the "Books Sent to a Friend" tab
  • When your friend receives the book, mark it received from this tab.
  • This is a non-credit transaction. No credit will be deducted, or granted, for sending your book out this way.

Are you on your account page?  It should be a To Do tab.

It didn't used to have a tab and showed up with all the other books you've sent out.  Now it has it's own tab!
